I
noticed a lot of my cute stamp set
come with 3 of the cute animals so I decided to make a game out them. plus, it used a lot of scrap cardstock.
Project Recipe
First chose a stamp set. then using basic white
cardstock i cut out 12 pieces that were 1 3/4 by 3 1/4. its takes 1 piece of 8 1/2 by 11 if you don't keep white cardstock scraps.
next you need 12 pieces of basic white that are
2"by 3 1/2 and 12 that are Highland Heather that are also 3 1/2 by 2".
Then i took a piece of designer paper that coordinated with Highland Heather. The one I chose in the video was from Flowering Zinnias.
Next stamp one of the images you chose on 4 of the 13/4 by 3 1/4 size basic white pieces so this until all twelve are stamped. then color with blends or colored pencils whatever you prefer. Remember to make 2 identical out of every 4 .
assemble, first the same size white and heather get adhered to each other's do this twelve times
if using glue, the first one is usually dry before you get to twelve. next adhere the dsp on the basic white side and the colored picture on the Heather side.
I
Last I made the box I used 2 pieces of thick cardstock.
the bottom is 5 3/4" by 4 1/2" scored inch in on all 4 sides
the lid is 5 6/8" by 4 5/8" then slice of 1/4 inch from all four side and score inside 3/4"
use bone folder on all scores
use paper slips to cut one on the scores up to the other score on all 4 side removing a sliver on all 4
then adhere sides together.do the same with lid.
this is how the box should look
on the top of the box I cut a piece of the DSP to match the cards it was 3 1/2 by 2 i also cut out one of the images i stamped and glued it to this with a label on top saying match game.
