I
Started with a basic card in Mossy Meadow its folded at 4 1/4 by 5 1/2.
the inside card is 1/2 inch smaller I cut a rectangle in the center and hung a Christmas tree. The card is decorated with Golden greenery.
Project Recipe
Mossy Meadow cut at 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
Very vanilla cut at 8 inches by 5 inches score at 2 1.4, 4 and 5 3/4.
Gold foil specialty paper, for the front 5 by 3 3/4
for the inside 2 pieces 4 7/8 by 2 1/8. and scraps to cover holes in rectangle around tree.
Golden greenery dsp for the front 5 by 3 3/4 for the inside 2 cut at 4 3/4 by 2
center the rectangle from everyday dies in the center of the 4-inch score on the vanilla part.
place gold scraps on the back covering holes
cut out a small tree twice with decorative tree dies and cut 2 of the plain larger trees
trim the larger tree so it looks nice behind smaller one, do this on both and also die cut 2 stars with the gold foil. so front and back will look the same.
take a clear piece of thread, I used the thread from the jewelry making area. you're going to adhere with a glue dot the top of frame avoiding score line then adhere to one tree place the other one on top and continue thread to bottom adhere with glue dot. then I put a piece of tear and tape over dot.
on the sides I layered Gold then dsp and I also stamped and die cut greenery from the bundle and the bells were cut from the dsp
I also put a piece of very vanilla dsp behind where the tree will be I cut it 3 1/4 by 5 and scored it centrally so it will fold when card is closed
The front has the gold that is 5 1/4 by 4 then dsp over that. in the center is my sentiment. For this I used a die from Iconic Imagery and decorated it with the greenery.
the Merry Christmas was from Greetings of the season.
optional......since I don't like signing a card on the back I put a mini card on the right side in the center. its 4 inches by 3 scored at 2 on this matching dsp that's 2 7/8 by 1 7/8.
Finally adhere the inside to the card only adhering the sided so the cent will fold out.
here is the card front
