|
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" square from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 3-7/8" square of cotton stalks on yellow background design from Country Lane Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" square from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 2-3/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1" x 4" from Early Espresso Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Country Home Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the fall flower arrangement with cotton stalks image from the Country Home Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits that cuts out a 1-7/8" square. Place the stamped floral arrangement square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the square framelit on top so it will cut along the bottom edge of the stamped image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the scalloped square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits that cuts out a 2-1/4" scalloped square. Place the small Early Espresso square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped square framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the Markers to color in the flowers, leaves, and seed pods on the stamped floral arrangement square.
Adhere the colored floral arrangement square to the center of the Early Espresso scalloped square.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one end of the strip of Whisper White Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Slide one end of one of the strips of Early Espresso Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch. Repeat with the other strip of Early Espresso Cardstock.
Mount the "happy harvest blessings" sentiment from the Country Home Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the notched white strip so the sentiment is as close as possible to the notch with the notch on the right side.
Adhere the stamped, notched white strip on top of the two Early Espresso notched strips so the Early Espresso strips are at slight angles and poke out above, below, and on the right with the notches on the right.
Cut two pieces of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon each 2-1/2" long.
Fold one piece of the burlap ribbon in half horizontally so the fold is on the bottom of the ribbon. Cut at a sharp angle towards the fold. Repeat with the other piece of burlap ribbon.
Tip: This should give you a notch in one end of the ribbons.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the pieces of notched ribbon to the back of the layered sentiment banners so the notched ends of the ribbons just stick out on the right side at slight angles. Leave the protective backings on the Tear & Tape in place for right now.
Adhere the square of Country Lane Designer Paper to the large Early Espresso square.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape strips on the back of the layered sentiment banners and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the bottom left side of the matted designer paper so the notches are on the right side and the bottom is about 1/2" from the bottom of the matted designer paper. Make sure the sentiment is completely on the matted designer paper. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess cardstock along the left edge.
Adhere the matted designer paper with layered sentiment banners attached to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the bottom HALF of the back of the matted floral arrangment square. Remove the protective backings and adhere the matted squares to the top center of the card so half of the matted squares stick up above the top of the card.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere a Galvanized Button to the lower left corner of the matted floral arrangement squares.
Cut a 3-1/2" to 4" long piece from the 5/8" Burlap Ribbon.
Use Paper Snips to cut three lines of burlap from the strip of burlap ribbon (cutting horizontally along the ribbon). Save the rest of the burlap ribbon for another project. Tie a half knot in the center of the three lines you cut off.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the knot to the center of the Galvanized Button. Trim the ends.
