Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 3-3/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
Place the Buffalo Check background stamp rubber side up on Grid Paper on your work surface. Ink up the stamp by pouncing or rubbing the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad all over it. Leave the inked up stamp face up on your work surface. Carefully place the Crumb Cake rectangle on the stamp. Fold the Grid Paper up and over the top of everything and rub firmly all over. Using the Grid Paper protects your hands from getting ink on them.
Tip: I just clean my background stamps by running them under water until the water runs clear. Then, I let them air dry.
Adhere the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle to the front of the Cherry Cobbler card.
Mount the hugging snowmen image from the Spirited Snowmen Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large white rectangle.
Pick out the large, open, filigree oval framelit from the Stitched Labels Framelits. Place the stamped snowmen rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so it is centered over the snowmen image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush and Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the tiny pieces from the cut out.
Place the snowmen filigree oval cut out on top of some paper on your work surface (Grid Paper works great). You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Start coloring with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the light colors first and add highlights with the darker colors. If needed to blend the colors, go over things again with the lighter colors. Work on one area at a time so the inks will be wet and will blend easier.
Use the Light and Dark Old Olive Markers to color in the holly leaves on the snowwoman's hat and her scarf and to color two stripes on the snowman's scarf.
Use the Dark Pumpkin Pie Marker to color in the snowman's carrot nose.
Use the Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler Markers to color in the heart, bands on the hats, one stripe on the.snowman's scarf, and the holly berries on the snowwoman's hat plus the bow on her back and the fringe of her scarf.
Use the Light and Dark Crumb Cake Markers to color in their stick arms and the snowwoman's hat.
Use the Light and Dark Smoky Slate Markers to color in the snowman's hat.
Adhere the colored snowmen filigree oval to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and about 3/4" from the top.
Mount the "love never melts" or the "your friendship warms my heart" sentiment from the Spirited Snowmen Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white strip.
Pick out the long, single, open banner framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the banner framelit on top so the sentiment is centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Poke out the banner with the sentiment and keep it. Also use the Paper-Piercing Tool to poke out the outline banner that is probably stuck inside the framelit, remove it, and throw it away. If you don't remove it, then you will have trouble cutting with this framelit the next time you use it.
Cut a 4" piece of 5/8" Striped Burlap Trim.
Fold one end of the burlap trim in half horizontally so the fold is on the bottom of the trim. Cut at a sharp angle towards the fold cutting off about 1/2" of trim. Repeat with the other end of the burlap trim.
Tip: This should give you a notch in both ends of the trim so the final piece is about 3" long.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the sentiment banner cut out to the center of the notched burlap trim.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the burlap trim to the front of the card so it covers the bottom of the snowmen filigree oval.
Place the small square of Whisper White Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the Blizzard Thinlit on top so you'll get one medium sized snowflake with simple thin arms. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the pieces.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the snowflake cut out to the lower left side of the snowman filigree oval so the arms of the snowflake overlap the burlap trim and sentiment banner a bit.
Carefully peel up a medium rhinestone from a sheet of Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the snowflake cut out.
