P retty card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Tranquil Tide Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- 2" x 5" of textured lines of greens, blues, and whites design from Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/4" square from Tranquil Tide Cardstock
- 2-5/8" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Fresh Fig Cardstock at least 1" square
As you are ready to stamp using the Sitting Pretty Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
WITHOUT adhering, lay the designer paper strip on the left side of the Soft Sea Foam rectangle so that about 1/8" of Soft Sea Foam shows on the top, bottom, and left sides of the designer paper.
Mount the "Anywhere..." sentiment from the Sitting Pretty Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Tranquil Tide Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the Soft Sea Foam rectangle so it is as close to the right and bottom edges as possible.
When happy with the stamping of the sentiment, adhere the piece of designer paper in place on the left side of the stamped Soft Sea Foam rectangle.
Adhere the stamped Soft Sea Foam rectangle with designer paper attached to the front of the Tranquil Tide card.
Mount the wrought iron bench image from the Sitting Pretty Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Tranquil Tide Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large white square.
Adhere the stamped white square to the Tranquil Tide square.
Lay a Pearlized Doily on the card front in the upper right corner so that the right edge of the doily almost touches the right edge of the Soft Sea Foam rectangle and the top of the doily is just below the top of the designer paper strip.
Put some SNAIL on the back of the Tranquil Tide square and adhere it to the card front so it overlaps the doily and the right edge of the designer paper and is just above the sentiment.
Mount the potted plant image from the Sitting Pretty Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Tranquil Tide Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small white square.
Mount the plant top image from the Sitting Pretty Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Ink Pad and stamp it over the top of the previously stamped potted plant image. Without re-inking, rotate the stamp slightly and stamp it again. If desired, re-ink the stamp and stamp it again until you have filled in the plant image.
Pick out the matching, open potted plant framelit from the Pretty Park Framelits. Place the stamped potted plant image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the potted plant framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped potted plant image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Use the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to color some shimmer onto the pot on the potted plant image. This may make the ink run a little, but that's okay, it just gives the pot some color.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the potted plant cut out to the card front so it overlaps the lower left corner of the matted bench image.
Pick out the small, open heart framelit from the Pretty Park Framelits. Place the scrap of Fresh Fig Cardstock on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the heart framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Paint some shimmer on the heart cut out using the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the shimmery heart cut out to the card front so it is centered inside the heart on the back of the bench image.
