Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of fall leaves and acorns design from Rings Of Love 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-7/8" of gold foil sheets from Brushed Metallic 12" x 12" Cardstock
- 1-7/8" x 3-7/8" of gold dots on white background design from Silver & Gold 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-3/4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-3/4" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
Place the strip of gold dots designer paper from the Silver & Gold Designer Paper on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Rub a Blending Brush across the open Crushed Curry Ink Pad to get it inky. Rub some of the ink off onto Grid Paper. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush over the center of the gold dots designer paper strip at a slight angle. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed.
Tip: I just clean my Blending Brushes when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Rub a Blending Brush across the open Poppy Parade Ink Pad to get it inky. Rub some of the ink off onto Grid Paper. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush over the top and bottom of the gold dots designer paper strip at a slight angle, blending it into the Crushed Curry area. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed.

Use a clean paper towel or tissue to rub off excess ink.
Adhere the blended strip of gold dots designer paper to the center of the gold foil sheet from the Brushed Metallic Cardstock. The top and bottom edges will be even.
Adhere the matted, blended gold dots designer paper strip to the left side of the horizontal acorns and leaves designer paper rectangle from the Rings Of Love Designer Paper so it is about 1/4" from the left edge. The top and bottom edges will be even.
Adhere the designer paper rectangle to the center of the Poppy Parade rectangle and then to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Amazing Phrasing Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large sentiment of choice from the Amazing Phrasing Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal white rectangle.
Mount the smaller phrase of choice from the Amazing Phrasing Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal white strip just under the previously stamped larger sentiment so the smaller sentiment is closer to the right end of the larger sentiment.
Pick out the bumpy-topped tag die that cuts out a 3-7/8" long tag from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. Put it on top of the sentiments stamped white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the top of the tag is on the left side and the sentiments are centered in the tag. Run through the machine.
Cut a 4" piece of the Natural 1/2" Woven Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Cut a 10" piece of the Sweet Sorbet twine from the 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine Pack.
Feed one end of the ribbon through the hole in the top of the tag. Pull the ribbon through so it is even. Tie the piece of twine around the ribbon just above the top of the tag using a small bow to hold the ribbon in place. Trim the ends of the twine.
Adhere the tag with ribbon attached to the front of the card at a slight angle a shown so the top of the tag is on the left and is about 3/4" from top edge and about 1" from the left edge.
Pick out both leaf dies from the Candy Canes Dies. Put one on top of the small Crushed Curry rectangle and one on top of the small Poppy Parade rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies and cardstock do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.
Adhere the two leaf cut outs to the card front as shown so they overlap the bottom right side of the tag and each other a bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large gold sequin from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it covers the stems on the leaf cut outs.
