Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sorbet Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Bubble Bath Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 4" of pink and white stripes design from Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, cut so the horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 3" from Sweet Sorbet Cardstock
Insert the Bubble Bath rectangle into the floral embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders set. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the strip of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper to the bottom of the vertical, dry embossed Bubble Bath rectangle so it is about 1/4" from the bottom.
Adhere the dry embossed Bubble Bath rectangle with designer paper attached to the front of the Sweet Sorbet card.
Pick out the die from the Countryside Corners Dies that cuts out a 2-3/8" x 4" label. Put it on top of the large white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Biggest Wish Set and Country Bouquet Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the script "thanks" word from the Biggest Wish Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Bubble Bath Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment three times on the vertical white label cut out as shown. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Leave about 1" between the top and second stamped sentiments. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the script "thanks" word on Block H with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it in between the top and second "thanks" sentiments on the white label cut out as shown.
Mount the set of three little sparkles image from the Biggest Wish Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Bubble Bath Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the sentiment stamped white label cut out. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp every so often. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cut out.
Adhere the stamped label cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the top of the designer paper on the right side and is about 3/8" from the right edge and about 1/2" from the top edge.
Mount the "just wanted to say..." sentiment from the Country Bouquet Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it on the skinny strip of Sweet Sorbet cardstock.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the sentiment by hand so the left side is a sharp angle as shown.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cut out sentiment strip to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the left edge of the thanks label cut out between the top Bubble Bath and Sweet Sorbet stamped sentiments.
Mount the set of two larger hearts image where the larger one is slightly striped and the smaller one is upside down just below it from the Country Bouquet Set on Block D. Ink up the larger heart image with the Bubble Bath Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the remaining, vertical white strip, leaving room to punch it out and making sure the heart is right side up. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Mount the large outline heart image from the Country Bouquet Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the larger, slightly striped heart stamped on the white strip.
Unlock the Country Bouquet Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped, striped, large heart into the opened punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Ink up the smaller, upside down heart on the set of two larger hearts image on Block D with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it on the end of the remaining, vertical white strip, leaving room to punch it out and making sure the heart is upside down. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.
Slide the smaller, solid heart image into the unlocked, upside down punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch.
Adhere the large heart punch out to the front of the card as shown using Stampin' Seal so it overlaps the top of the designer paper just to the left of the label cut out and overlaps the lower left side of the label cut out as well.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the small heart punch out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottom of the large heart punch out and the lower left corner of the sentiment label cut out.
Cut a 7" piece of the Sweet Sorbet 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon.
Fold the ribbon in half. Tie a half knot in the center of the folded ribbon. Trim and fray the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card as shown so it is tucked into the space between the two heart punch outs on the lower left side.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three Sweet Sorbet pearls from the sheet of 2022-2024 In Color Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
