he Candy Cane Lane Sampler is a great addition to any home for the holidays. It goes together fairly quickly with the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper and coordinating sets and cardstock. Enjoy making it today!

Project Recipe
These instructions follow through creating one square at a time. My recommendation is to get all the individual elements created first, then your assembly will go more quickly. Here's my suggested steps:
1 - complete all stamping first
2 - punch all pieces that use a punch
3 - use Big Shot for remaining cut outs
4 - fussy cut pieces that cannot be punched or die cut
5 - glue all squares according to instructions
6 - add glitter
7 - add embellishments
8 - glue to 12x12 paper
9 - inset in frame
These are the items you will need to fussy cut:
* Santa
* the moose
* from the Designer Series Paper:
* 2 gingerbread men
* 1 tree
* 1 mitten
* 1 candy cane
* 4 candies (punched out)
Cut two scalloped circles with the Big Shot, the smaller one in Real Red and larger one in Crumb Cake cardstock. Cut out "merry" using the Big Shot and Christmas Greetings Thinlits from Early Espresso cardstock.
Stamp Santa with Early Espresso ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Cut out with Paper Snips. Use blender pen to colour Santa's cheeks with Pink Pirouette ink.
Stamp hat in Real Red ink onto Whisper White. Punch out using Jolly Hat Builder Punch. Punch out hat fur and pompom from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.
Glue piece of DSP to Real Red square. Glue circles together and place in top centre of DSP. Attach Santa first, then his hat with a Dimensional. Glue on the fur and pompom and "merry".
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue on moustache and sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Cut out house, candy cane and peppermint candy from DSP using Paper Snips and 1/2" circle punch. Glue house to piece of Real Red cardstock and cut out again.
Glue candy cane and peppermint to front, ensuring house will fit in the middle. Add White accent to peppermint. Wrap Black Baker's Twine around DSP and glue to Real Red square and tie in a bow.
Attach house with Dimensionals. Use FineTip Glue Pen to outline decorations on house and add Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Put Silver Metallic Heart in centre of house.
Glue DSP to Real Red square. Knot ribbon once and wrap around bottom, gluing in the back.
Stamp Merriest Wishes in Real Red ink on Whisper White cardstock. Cut out with Lots of Labels die and Big Shot. Cut out next largest die from Real Red cardstock.
Attach sentiment to top front using Dimensional. Punch out two peppermint candies with 1/2" circle punch and glue to sides of label. Lightly cover with glue and sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Glue DSP to Real Red square. Attach Rhinestone jewels.
Stamp sentiment from Candy Cane Christmas in Early Espresso ink. Use Layering Circle to cut out with Big Shot. Cut out next size of scalloped circle in Real Red. Glue together.
Wrap piece of ribbon around DSP and glue in back. Glue to Real Red square.
Attach circle with Dimensionals to middle front of square. Attach silver Metallic Enamel shape.
Cut 3 1" x 2 1/2" pieces of cardstock in half - one Early Espresso, one Real Red and one Crumb Cake. Place individually in Triple Banner Punch and punch. Cut off 1/4" from top.
Cut out tree, gingerbread man and mitten from DSP. Glue to banner pieces as shown in photo.
Glue DSP to Real Red square. Attach banners with Dimensionals starting from left with Early Espresso, then overlapping slightly with Real Red and finishing with Crumb Cake, slightly overlapping as well.
Make two small bows with gold Baker's twine and attach on either end at top with Multipurpose Liquid glue. Attach three gold sequins along top.
Stamp greeting in Early Espresso on Whisper White cardstock. Cut out with square from Layering Squares framelits with Big Shot. Cut out next largest scalloped square in Real Red. Glue together.
Glue DSP to Real Red square. Attach greeting with Dimensional.
Cut out gingerbread man and attach with Dimensional.
Emboss Whisper White square (2 3/4" x 2 34') with Softly Falling embossing folder using Big Shot. Cut out "joy" thinlit with Big Shot in Early Espresso cardstock.
Stamp star from Candy Cane Christmas in Crumb Cake ink. Stamp candy cane in Real Red ink. Cut out star and candy cane using Paper Snips. Punch out peppermint using 1/2" circle punch.
Wrap Real Red baker's twine around Whisper White square and glue in back. Glue down "joy" and candy cane viewing photo for placement. Attach star with Dimensional.
Stamp moose from Jolly Friends stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. Cut out with Paper Snips.
Punch out 2" circle from Whisper White cardstock. and 1 3/4" circle from Early Espresso cardstock.
Glue DSP to Real Red square. Glue Early Espresso circle to Whisper White circle and glue to front middle of DSP. Glue moose on top. Use Multipurpose Liquid glue for antler bells and set aside to dry.
Arrange all squares on 12" x 12" piece of Whisper White cardstock then glue down in this order.
* place middle square down first
* place squares immediately above and below and to left and right
* place last corner squares
Set into frame and enjoy!
