S haker Card using Maritime DSP
Project Recipe
Cut paper to the following measurements:
Real Red Cardstock - 11-1/2 x 4-1/4" scored @ 5-1/2"
Maritime DSP (Blue knots)- 4 x 5-1/4"
Maritime DSP (Whale or Octopus) 3 x 3"
Crumbcake cardstock - 4 x 5"
Night of Navy cardstock- 3 x 3"
Whisper White cardstock - 1 x 5"
Using the Crumb Cake cardstock:
1. Run through the Big Shot using the Top Note Die.
2. Stamp the Hardwood image.
3. Punch a 2-1/2" circle out , by pushing the short side as far into the punch (without damaging the tip). Make sure edges are even on both sides of the punch before you punch.
4. Adhere the Window Sheet to the back side.
Porthole:
1. Using the Magnetic Platform and the 4th and 6th circle framelits (counting from the center out), Cut the porthole out of the Night of Navy Cardstock .
2. Using a gold sharpie, color 6 (or 8) pearls.
3. Adhere Peals onto porthole.
4. Adhere Porthole onto the Top Note piece.
Banner:
1. Using Night of Navy Ink, stamp the chevron banner and the polka dot banner.
2. Repeat using Real Red.
3. Stamp "you're the BEST" using real Red.
4. Punch out images, using the Banner Punch.
5. Adhere a 4" piece of white baker's twine around the bottom of the Crumb Cake Top Note.
6. Using dimensionals, place the banners on to the baker's twine.
Shaker:
1. Punch the Whale or Octopus out of the Maritime DSP using the 2-1/2" Circle Punch.
2. Use the Fringe Scissors to create confetti by cutting into a scrap piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock. Then cut in the opposite direction.
3. Adhere the largest shaker frame to the backside of the porthole. Press firmly.
4. Pour in the confetti and add some loose sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim.
5. Peel off the backing from the shaker frame, and adhere the Whale or Octopus (making sure it is facing and lined up the way you want). Press firmly to get a good seal.
Finishing touches:
1. Sponge the edges of the 4 x 5-1/4 Maritime DSP with Night of Navy ink. Then adhere to card face.
2. Using excess shaker frame pieces, attach the Crumb Cake Top Note piece to the front of the card.
3. Now "shake it like a Polaroid picture"!!!
