T hese cards, using a monochromatic palette and simple stamping, prove that cards do not have to be full of layers, die cuts or embellishments to be beautiful!
Project Recipe
Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Basic White front: 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White inside: 5 1/4" x 4"
Using an oval die (or any simple shape), cut shape out of thick cardstock to create a stencil.
Lay stencil over Basic White layer and gently blend ink, using a blending brush or sponge dauber, lightly. Build up color slowly to desired shade.
Remove stencil and stamp sentiment and focal image in the same ink color, layering over the blended shape.
Adhere the Basic White stamped layer to the front of the card. Adhere the second Basic White layer inside card. (Sentiment optional).
