Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" from Pool Party Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" of silver foil dots design from Silver & Gold 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/8" from Pool Party Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the strip of silver dots designer paper from the Silver & Gold Designer Paper to the center of the strip of Pool Party cardstock. The top and bottom edges will be even.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the matted silver dots designer paper on the left side of the vertical 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle so it is about 1/8" from the left side and the top and bottom edges are even. ALSO WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the large Pool Party rectangle on the 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle so it is about 3/16" from the top and right edges.
Mount the "the light of the world" sentiment from the Peace To You Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the vertical 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle so it is centered in the space.
Now, adhere the matted silver dots designer paper to the stamped large white rectangle.
Adhere the layered and stamped white rectangle to the front of the Pool Party card.
Carefully remove a magnet from the back of the Stamparatus.
Tip: To make it easier to grab the magnets and to help keep them from breaking if they snap together, wrap them in strips of washi tape or masking tape leaving folded over pieces to grab on to.
Place the Stamparatus in front of you with the open sides of the Stamparatus on the left and bottom. Insert one hinged plate into the Stamparatus on the right side so it is in the topmost hinge space. Put the Stamparatus Foam Mat on the base of the Stamparatus. Put a piece of Small Grid Paper on the base of the Stamparatus.
Pick out the church and trees in snowfall image from the Peace To You Set. Place the stamp rubber side down on the Stamparatus base. Close the plate on the Stamparatus and press firmly so the stamp sticks to the plate. Open the plate.
Ink up the stamp on the plate using the Pool Party Ink Pad. If you get excess ink on the plate, you can wipe it off with a baby wipe or tissue. Close the plate onto the Small Grid Paper on the Stamparatus base and press down firmly. Open the plate.
Tip: Slide a Clear-Mount Stamp Case under the plate before inking up the stamp. This gives you a firm, flat surface to push against making it easier to ink up the stamp.
Place the piece of 3-1/8" x 4" white cardstock on the base of the Stamparatus so it is vertical and it is about 1/8" to the left and 1/8" to the top of the left and top edges of the stamped image on the Small Grid Paper. Put the magnet across the bottom of the cardstock to hold it in place.
Ink up the stamp on the plate again using the Pool Party Ink Pad. If you get excess ink on the plate, you can wipe it off with a baby wipe or tissue. Close the plate onto the white rectangle on the Stamparatus base and press down firmly. Open the plate.
Tip: Slide a Clear-Mount Stamp Case under the plate before inking up the stamp. This gives you a firm, flat surface to push against making it easier to ink up the stamp.
Remove the magnet and the cardstock.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the 3-1/4" x 4-1/8" Pool Party rectangle.
Adhere the matted white rectangle to the front of the card.
Gently squeeze some Snowfall Accents Puff Paint onto the bank of snow at the bottom of the main image in lines and add a few dots to the snowy sky around the trees and church as well.
Use the Heat Tool to heat the puff paint until it gets dry and puffy.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card so it is centered at an angle over the bottom left corner of the matted church scene.
