Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Fresh Freesia Cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/4" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Fresh Freesia Cardstock
Insert the Highland Heather rectangle into a Clear Medium Envelope so it fits as tightly as possible to the bottom of the envelope and one long edge.
Fold the other long edge over to the back side so it fits tightly against the other long edge of the Highland Heather rectangle, Secure in place with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut a triangular bit off the closing flap of the Clear Envelope where it is folded over to make it lay flatter.
Put a couple of large pinches of the sequins from the Sparkle & Shine Sequins Assortment into the Clear Envelope so they are on top of the cardstock.
Remove the protective backing from the closing flap of the Clear Envelope and seal the envelope closed as tight to the top edge of the cardstock as possible.
Pick out the large, oval aspen tree trunks die from the Aspen Tree Dies. Put it on top of the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered inside the rectangle. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick as needed to remove the pieces.
Note: You are using the large rectangle with the cut out in the center for this project. Throw away all the little bits and pieces.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the Fresh Freesia strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notch) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Mount the "wishing you abundant joy & peace" sentiment from the Perched In A Tree Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it on the punched strip so it is as close as possible to the notched edge with the notch on the right side.
Adhere a strip of the Highland Heather washi tape from Glitter Washi Tape vertically across the left end of the punched sentiment strip so it is just past the left side of the stamped sentiment. Use Paper Snips Scissors as needed to trim the washi tape.
Adhere the punched sentiment strip with washi tape attached to the lower left side of the white trees oval cut rectangle as shown. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off any excess Fresh Freesia cardstock hanging over the left edge as needed.
Use Stampin' Seal and Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the tree oval cut white rectangle with sentiment strip attached to the front of the sealed envelope so you can see the Highland Heather cardstock and sequins through the cut out areas. Make sure none of the envelope sticks out past the edges of the white rectangle.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive all over the back of the layered clear envelope/white oval cut rectangle. Remove the protective backings and adhere the rectangle to the front of the Fresh Freesia card so all the edges are even.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large star from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Stars making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the top of the sentiment strip as shown so it is centered over the right edge of the washi tape and the top of the cardstock strip.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small jewel from a sheet of Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the Adhesive-Backed Star as shown.
