F un and easy cards using some watercoloring and Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Calypso Coral Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" of purple stripes design from Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so stripes are horizontal
- 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" from Whisper White Thick Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper to the front of the Calypso Coral card.
If you haven't already done so, put some water into an Aqua Painter.
Squeeze the lid of the Mango Melody Ink Pad to get a pool of ink in the lid. Open the pad but leave the lid exposed. Gently squeeze the Aqua Painter to get a drop or two of water in the lid. Stir the water and ink together with the brush tip of the Aqua Painter. Brush some inky water onto the lower portion of the thick white cardstock creating a watercolor wash until you have the color coverage you want. Get more ink on the Aqua Painter as needed.
Tip: Scribble on Grid Paper to clean the tip of the Aqua Painter until no more color is coming off.

Tip: Scribble on Grid Paper to clean the tip of the Aqua Painter until no more color is coming off.
Set the watercolored white rectangle aside to let it dry thoroughly. Once it is dry, proceed with the next steps.
Tip: You can speed up drying with a Heat Tool if desired.
As you are ready to stamp using the Amazing Life Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "So Happy to have you in my Life" sentiment from the Amazing Life Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Gray Granite Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the watercolored white cardstock.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the watercolored and stamped white rectangle in the upper right corner. Flip the layer over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Add more Tear & Tape to the back of the white rectangle as close to the edges as possible. Add some SNAIL Adhesive in the center. Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape. Adhere the watercolored and stamped rectangle to the front card in the center.
Cut another 3-1/2" piece of Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center. Trim the ends.
Adhere the ribbon knot to the center of the ribbon already on the card front using a Mini Glue Dot.
Use the brush tip of the Rich Razzleberry Dark Stampin' Blends to color a large heart on a sheet of Heart Epoxy Droplets while it is on the sheet.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up the colored droplet making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it at a slight angle to the bottom of the "l" in the word "life."
