P retty card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Sahara Sand Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Sahara Sand Cardstock
- 2" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
Mount the Hardwood background stamp on Block F. Place the background stamp rubber side up on Grid Paper on your work surface . Ink up the stamp by pouncing or rubbing the Sahara Sand Ink Pad all over it. Leave the inked up stamp face up on your work surface. Carefully place the Sahara Sand rectangle on the stamp. Fold the Grid Paper up and over the top of everything and rub firmly all over. Using the Grid Paper protects your hands from getting ink on them.
Tip: I just clean my background stamps by running them under water until the water runs clear. Then, I let them air dry.
Adhere the stamped Sahara Sand rectangle to the Poppy Parade rectangle and then to the front of the Sahara Sand card.
Unlock the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Slide one end of the Whisper White strip into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the wreath with flowers image from the Barn Door Set on Block B. Use the side of the brush tip of the markers to ink up the stamp:
- use Old Olive on the leaves of the wreath
- use Pumpkin Pie on the large flowers
- use Poppy Parade on the small flower
Breathe on the stamp to re-moisten the inks and stamp on the top of the tag so the flowers are on the lower right side of the wreath.
Mount the "May your troubles be less..." sentiment from the Barn Door Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Do NOT stamp yet! Use the brush tip of the Poppy Parade Marker to color over the word "blessings." Breathe on the stamp to re-moisten the inks. Stamp the sentiment on the bottom of the tag.
Cut a 4" piece of Poppy Parade 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon so both ends are at sharp angles.
Cut an 8" piece of Old Olive 1/8" Sheer Ribbon.
Feed one end of the Poppy Parade ribbon through the hole in the top of the tag. Center the ribbon on the tag. Use the Old Olive ribbon to tie a small bow around the Poppy Parade ribbon. Trim the ends of the Old Olive ribbon.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the tag to the front of the card at a slight angle.
Carefully peel up 2 small Poppy Parade circles from a sheet of Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the large Pumpkin Pie flowers on the wreath.
