As you are ready to stamp using the Beautiful Balloons Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the streamer image from the Beautiful Balloons Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist or Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Stamp at at an angle across the upper right corner of the horizontal 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Lemon Lime Twist or Azure Afternoon brushstrokes Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper rectangle as shown. The image will go off the top and right edges. Stamp the image again in the same color two more times as shown until you have three streamers across the corner. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Note: If you are making multiples of the card in different colors, be sure to clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy between colors.
Adhere the stamped designer paper rectangle to the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" Blueberry Bushel or Lemon Lolly rectangle and then to the front of the Lemon Lime Twist or Azure Afternoon card.
Pick out the rectangular present die from the Wanted To Say Dies. Put it on one end of the coordinating designer paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Keep all the pieces.
Pick out the bow die from the Wanted To Say Dies. Put it on one end of the thin Blueberry Bushel or Lemon Lolly rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed. Keep all the pieces.
Adhere the present designer paper cut out to the front of the card so it is vertical and is about 1/2" from the bottom edge and 3/4" from the right edge.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the bow cut out to the top of the present as shown.
Mount the medium, solid balloon image from the Beautiful Balloons Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Azure Afternoon or Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Note: If you are making multiples of the card in different colors, be sure to clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy between colors.
Pick out the medium, open balloon die from the Beautiful Balloons Dies. Put it on top of the stamped balloon image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Pick out a small, solid balloon die from the Beautiful Balloons Dies. Put it on the other end of the coordinating designer paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Cut two pieces each about 2" long of the white twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack or the Parakeet Party or Tahitian Tide twine from the 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine Pack.
Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere one of the twine pieces to the back of the larger balloon cut out. Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere one end of the other twine piece to the back of the small balloon cut out.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Adhesive and add more adhesive to the back of the medium balloon cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it is in the upper left corner and the twine hangs down.
Remove the protective backing from the Stampin' Dimensional on the back of the small balloon cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottom right side of the medium balloon cut out and the twine hangs down.
Pick out the more solid "happy birthday" die from the Wanted To Say Dies. Put it on top of the larger Blueberry Bushel of Lemon Lolly rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to the back side of the Lemon Lime Twist or Azure Afternoon rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the more detailed "happy birthday" die from the Wanted To Say Dies. Put it on top of the Lemon Lime Twist or Azure Afternoon rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the green or blue side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the "happy birthday" cut outs. Adhere them to the center of the more solid "happy birthday" cut out.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the matted "happy birthday" cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the lower left side of the present and covers the loose ends of the twine hanging from the balloons.
Pick out the solid tassel die from the Beautiful Balloons Dies. Put it the other end of the thin Blueberry Bushel or Lemon Lolly rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the tassel cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is hanging off the lower left side of the medium balloon cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small and 1 large Lemon Lime Twist or Blueberry Bushel gem from the sheet of Tinsel Gems Four-Pack making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown so the large one is in the center of the bow at the top of the present and the small one is at the top of the tassel hanging from the medium balloon.
