F un fold Easter card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pecan Pie Cardstock at 4-1/4" x 9-1/2" and scored at 1-1/2" x 4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4-1/4" from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Pecan Pie Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 3 pieces each 1" x 3-1/2" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
Fold the card in half at the 4" score mark. Then fold on the 1-1/2" score mark so the front of the card folds back on itself making a "z fold" card. Use the Bone Folder to get sharp creases.
Mount the "there's no bunny like you" sentiment from the Excellent Eggs Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" horizontal vanilla rectangle.
Mount the bunny image from the Excellent Eggs Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the 4" x 5-1/4" horizontal vanilla rectangle. Leave the stamp on the block.
Adhere the stamped vanilla rectangle to the inside flap of the card.
Pick out the zigzag die from the Excellent Eggs Dies. Put it on top of one of the Daffodil Delight strips on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed. Repeat with the other two Daffodil Delight strips.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere one of the zigzag strips to the left edge of the card front so it is centered between the left edge of the card and the left edge of the small front flap and goes off the bottom edge a small amount. Trim off excess zigzag strip along the bottom edge using Paper Snips Scissors.
Trim a second zigzag strip as needed so it will butt right up against the end of the strip already glued to the card front. Adhere this piece so it finishes the zigzag line across the left edge of the card front. Trim off excess zigzag strip at the top using Paper Snips Scissors. SAVE THE TRIMMED OFF BIT!
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the remaining zigzag strip to the left edge of the small front flap so it is about 1/4" from the left edge of the flap and goes off the bottom edge a small amount. Trim off excess zigzag strip along the bottom edge using Paper Snips Scissors.
Trim the leftover bit of zigzag strip as needed so it will butt right up against the end of the strip already glued to the small front flap. Adhere this piece so it finishes the zigzag line across the left edge of the small front flap. Trim off excess zigzag strip at the top using Paper Snips Scissors if needed. If there is a bit of a gap near the center, that is okay as you will cover it with the main image strip in a bit.
Mount the "happy Easter" sentiment from the Excellent Eggs Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it as close as possible to the right edge of the center of the long, horizontal vanilla strip.
Re-ink the small bunny image on Block B with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the middle of each of the small vanilla, Pecan Pie, and Early Espresso rectangles. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Pick out the matching, open bunny die from the Excellent Eggs Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped bunny images on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other two bunny images.
Adhere the Early Espresso bunny cut out to the sentiment strip so it is just to the left of the stamped sentiment.
Adhere the Pecan Pie bunny cut out to the left edge of the sentiment strip.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the vanilla bunny cut out to the sentiment strip so it is centered between the two other bunny cut outs.
Adhere the stamped sentiment strip to the center of the long, thin Early Espresso rectangle.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the matted sentiment strip ONLY where it crosses the small front flap of the card front. Remove the protective backings and adhere the matted sentiment strip in place. Make sure the sentiment strip covers the sentiment stamped on the inside flap and that NO adhesive goes over the edges of the small front flap or the card won't open.
