Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Bumblebee Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3" x 6" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 3" x 6" of small orangey pink flowers and green leaves on yellow background design from Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 1-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Bumblebee Cardstock
Mount the grouping of small flowers and leaves image from the Ornate Style Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it in the lower left corner of the large, horizontal white rectangle so some of the image goes off the bottom and left edges of the cardstock. Make sure you have Grid Paper under your cardstock to protect your work surface.
Make sure you have some paper (Grid Paper works great) at your work space.to protect the work surface. The Stampin' Blends Markers will bleed through the cardstock that you are coloring so you need to protect your work surface.
Place the stamped white rectangle on the work paper and start coloring with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas.
Use the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Marker to color in the centers of all the little flowers.
Use the Dark Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends to color in some of the little flowers.
Use the Light Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends to color in the rest of the little flowers.
Use the Dark and Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color in the leaves.
Mount the small, single flower with leaves image from the Ornate Style Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it on the remaining, small white rectangle.

Pick out the long, skinny, curved with dots along the edges die from the Curvy Dies. Put it on top of the Old Olive rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you will cut off one long edge as close to the edge as possible. Make sure the dots are on the top edge of the die. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick and Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip to remove all the little bits from the die and cardstock. Keep the die out.

Adhere the die cut designer paper piece to the die cut Old Olive piece so the curves of the pieces line up and the designer paper edge is just above the dots in the Old Olive piece.
Cut off excess designer paper along the long, smooth edge if necessary using Paper Snips.
Use the Paper Trimmer to trim the short sides of the designer paper/cardstock curved pieces off so the entire length of the piece is 5-1/8".
Adhere the curved designer paper/cardstock piece to the top of the stamped and colored large white rectangle so about 1/16" of white shows on the top, left, and right edges.
Adhere the white layer to the front of the Bumblebee card.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Itty Bitty Greetings Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the right end of the Bumblebee strip. Leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Classic Label Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area so the right end of the sentiment is near the right end of the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it overlaps the right edge of the grouping of stamped and colored flowers and leaves just a bit and is about 1/2" from the bottom of the card.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the small, single, colored flower and leaves by hand.
Adhere the cut out flower and leaves to the front of the card using a Mini Stampin' Dimensional so it covers the left end of the sentiment punch out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a Bumblebee dot from a sheet of 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the flower cut out.
