The Most Versatile Tool for Beginners:
The Stampin’Up! Paper Trimmer
~If you're just starting out, one tool that can make a big difference is the paper trimmer. It's incredibly versatile and, in my opinion, the number one choice for beginners. It can cut and score and will hold 12"x12"+ as it has a fold-in arm for papers over 6". Replaceable blades are available.
Adhesives:
This is very much a personal preference. You will need adhesive...it just depends what type you prefer and the project. If I had to choose one, I'd suggest the multi purpose liquid glue. Just don't use too much that you get it all over.
Our inks come in many colors and several types. In my video I'll break it down for you. I'd suggest our Memento Tuxedo Black as your first pad of ink.
Paper Pumpkin or other kits really help build your tools up. Each box in this subscription includes a small color cube of ink that coordinates with our collection so you can use it with other products/papers etc. You will also have left over papers, twine and other consumable supplies. Plus...you get a stamp set with each box, too! Many have sentiments for various holidays and celebrations you can use over and over.
Next level adhesives: dimensionals, glue dots and seal tape runner would be other helpful adhesives to add next, probably in that order.
Take your pick tool:
This amazing little helper will be used every time you craft. You will find yourself using it in so many different ways as it has a collection of interchangeable ends so you can cut, score, putty to pick up embellishments and much more.
