Colour Update

Hey everyone

I just want to let you know what is going with the colour Revamp, this is copied straight from the information that we have been given,

Here’s some key information to keep in mind about our colour offering:

• Colours will be updated in the 2018-2019 annual catalogue.

• No changes have been made to core colour offering since 2013.

• Our plan is to update colours every three to five years.

• When we change many of the core colours, we’ll call it a colour revamp. When we change a few core colours, we’ll call it a colour refresh.

• Our In Color offering will follow the same process: We’ll continue to introduce five new In Colors each year that are available for two years. The five existing In Colors from 2017-2019 will remain in our colour offering. With this colour revamp, we’re also introducing five new 2018-2020 In Colors.

On 31 May 2018, thirteen colours are retiring.

  • Always Artichoke
  • Chocolate Chip
  • Elegant Eggplant
  • Island Indigo
  • Marina Mist
  • Perfect Plum
  • Pink Pirouette
  • Rose Red
  • Soft Sky
  • Tangerine Tango
  • Tempting Turquoise
  • Wild Wasabi
  • Wisteria Wonder

The retiring 2016-2018 In Colors are:

  • Dapper Denim
  • Emerald Envy
  • Flirty Flamingo*
  • Peekaboo Peach
  • Sweet Sugar Plum

*Please note that while Flirty Flamingo is retiring as an In Color, it will continue to be available as part of our core colour collection.

On Stage Hull - April 2018

Today I am going to get on the same bandwagon as everyone else and show you what we got at On Stage

For those that don't know On Stage is a twice a year event in which Stampin' Up! demonstrators get together to share ideas and find out what is coming up over the next 6 months

We learnt about the colour refresh, now there are plenty of videos out there now on this so I am not going to go into detail. However, I have shared the new products that we were given and the wonderful make and takes that we got to create. So without further ado

Stampin Blends - Independent Review by Non-Demonstrator

Hi, there peeps,

I know I not doing well but not posting while I am moving, as many of you are aware the Stampin Blends have been put on hold and you will not be able to re-order these for the next couple of months due to them being so popular. Stampin' Up! had no idea that these would sell as fast as they did, hence the reason to have them on hold. You can not backorder these at time of posting, and we have been promised that the back orders will be honoured as Stampin' Up! gets hold of new stock.

What I love about our blends is that they have been made for the every-day-crafter in mind, they have not been designed for graphic artists or cartoon artists, but people like you and me...

However just before the blends went on hold, a dear friend of mine called Lindsay Weirich did a video on YouTube, she is not a demonstrator but an amazing artist. So I reached out to her to get permission to share her video on my blog. I have also included a link (here it is) to her blog... So please go and check her out...

Bonus!!!

Okay, so I did not make a video for this as I made it up as I went along.

But it is simple now that I have made one, simply measure the sides of your tissue box and add 3/4 inch to the top and one side

Once you have measured all 4 sides then score 1/2 inch on the top and one side cut a wedge where the score lines join. then measure the top and only add 1/4 inch to each side.

Then run your adhesive on all tabs and pray that you have your measurements right. I also cut a hole using the oval layering frameletts

 So enjoy making your own..
