Technique Tuesday - Bokeh Effect

Welcome peeps, hope you all have had a great weekend and enjoyed hoping along with the rest of us…. This is such a wicked and simple technique and really packs a punch, so I am going to give this ago in yellows…  I did make my own Bokeh template, with a thick plastic sheet that came with a package.

Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog and add your birthday and I am happy to post you a birthday card out to you worldwide.

As we get closer to the end of SAB, make sure you are using the host code (you will share in the rewards) and earn those freebies. Oh, and if you like any of the 2006-2007 In-Colours and have not yet purchased the ink pads, In Colour Stampin' Write Markers, and card stock, please make sure you also GET the refills as these will sell out fast as we get closer to the new release.

Okay I only have one of these colours, as I decided that I would not buy them myself as when I joined Stampin' Up! last year I would only a have a few months before they would retire and so I only invested in the one colour... Okay, now that I have written this I have now added the Markers to my next order so then I have the colours... But I am so looking forward to the next colour release which I will get a sneak peek in April when I go to On Stage. At this time I will also get a look into the new Annual Catalogue and there is a rumour that there even maybe a full colour refresh. But we do NOT know anyting for sure....

  4. I don’t know where to start
  5. The quarterly minimum’s (yes, we have minimum’s, I won’t lie)

Remember I am only a hobby crafter, and I do not do this for a business, I am doing this as I have a passion to teach and craft for myself. I can also help you to start a business if this is what you want to do, and I can help you with both online parties and face to face parties if you want.

Or simply help you with your orders over the quarter to meet your minimum’s, which is actually very simple.

So back to the fun part of this, a wonderful and easy gift bag, and if you use the new SAB Spring time foils paper to make, which is a level one reward (Click here for details)

A word of warning, or a suggestion, if your DSP is thick once you have scored and before you burnish spray very lightly with water first and then burnish and this will help with the paper from not cracking.

I have to give a massive shout out to Elizabeth for her inspiration, I have used her video and blog to help me make this, so with full respect here is her link... (Click here)

Now the video….

Please click on the link below to jump over to YouTube and make sure you subscribe, as I can not embed this until the morning of the hop... If I get time I will embed this.

Casing Thursday 2008-2009

Welcome to Casing Thursday

Today we are casing from the 2008-2009 Annual Catalogue on page 31 (Im sorry I could not find it online for you)

What I liked about this was how it was masculine, and simple. I took the Vintage Leaves stamp set and stamped 3 different leaves, one on a Crumb Cake and 2 on Very Vanilla cardstock and then die cut it out.. Once die cut I then sponged them all with the Crumb Cake ink.

Now I have basically given you the video in word form, I don’t need to post one!!!

Ha ha just joking, as always it is down below, also please don’t forget to subscribe to my blog and YouTube channel if you have not already. If you also put your birthday information in I will send you a handmade birthday card anywhere in the world…

So here is the video, click on the image below

Dont forget if you want to join my team, or purchase products, please selcect Andre Gordon as your demonstrator.

Technique Tuesday - Stamparatus

Welcome to Andres Creations

I am so sorry for writing this so late, I was busy this morning with another project that I am giving to someone to give as congratulations cards, 18 in total.

I also now have a subscribe to my blog, please make sure you subscribe to both my Youtube, and my blog and if you subscribe to my log you can enter your birthday date and month. If you do I will send you a birthdaay card, and I am happy to send this world wide..

However, lets get to it….

Today I have 2 video’s for you as I played with the Stamparatus on Sunday. What I wanted to show you today was a couple more techniques that you can play with. Now before you ask where can I get this tool, YOU CAN’T… SO why am I showing you this???

Well it is being released in the new annual catalogue in a few months, and one of the benefits of being a demonstrator is that we can sometimes get access to products that are yet to be released, and this is one of them….

SO why the Stamparatus, when I have another platform???

Well I had the same question myself and it was not until I got to play with this that I saw the benefits…

  • It has 2 platforms at 90 from each other
  • It is attached by hinges, which come out and you can move for much easier step stamping
  • A foam pad is included for photopolymer stamps
  • 2 VERY strong magnetics are included (cover with washi to help)
  • The hinges move very smoothly
  • Easy to keep clean
  • Has both metric and imperial measurements
  • You can use your indexed stamps with no issues (Just clean if not sticking)

I am going to keep this short for you as I know that you want to get started with the video’s….

Stamping Sunday 4/3/18

Welcome to Stampin Sunday

Today we are going to look at the differences in the stamps on the market, I have use the new Stampin’ Up! platform to remove all possible human errors, I felt that if I used a traditional block there is just too much that I could influence to skew the results.

We have looked at Silicon, Photopolymer from two different companies, and then the Traditional red rubber.

I used both a fabric ink pad and a foam ink pad on all stamps. You will soon see why I swapped to Stampin’ Up!

Just remember that this is a great time to look at joining Stampin’ Up! as you get so much free product for so little.  (Click here for details)

I will link below the stamp set’s that I used from Stmapin’ Up! however I will not be linking the other stamp sets.

Here is the link to the video, I will put it in here once it publishes on Youtube
